I am Jingchun Zhang, known as “Spring”, the Principal of three beautiful Montessori campuses in Orange County. As an AMI trained teacher and I have had the pleasure of working with children for 2 years as a Montessori teacher. I’ve earned a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Chinese Art & Literature from the Communication University of China. My educational background allows me to offer your children a relevant and historical understanding of the Mandarin language and Chinese culture. Before coming to LiMai, I worked in the Media industry for over 10 years as the Editor in Chief of “His Life” magazine, a famous lifestyle magazine in China. Additionally, I worked for Vogue China magazine as a Senior Features Editor and prior to Vogue, I was the Deputy Director of Robb Report China magazine and under my management, we recognized and interviewed Warren Buffett gifting him by the president of China Trends Media Group.
When my daughter, Joy, was born we made a conscious decision when she was two years old to migrate to the US for more challenging opportunities. I joined an Executive MBA program at Chapman University and during a school break, I met 2 wonderful women: one was the owner of a Montessori school in Napa Valley, California and the other woman was a board member of a chain of Montessori schools in Southern California. I was already a big fan of Maria Montessori so we collaborated and they encouraged me to pursue my love of the Montessori Method way of learning. I am dedicated as a great educator and my vision is to guide our children to find their purpose in life and grow positively.
Hello, my name is Kathy Jung and I am currently teaching the Pre-K Blue class at LiMai Montessori Academy. I felt, in order to see and relate to why I teach, knowing my background was important. I was born in South Korea and my family immigrated to the U.S. when I was 16. Due to this, I experienced both the Korean and American education system. By comparing and examining the two systems, I developed a dream to work with kids. I wanted to provide an environment where students understand the importance of studying and education, like in Korea, but also understand that choices and possibilities are limitless, like in America. So, in order to achieve this dream of a balanced education system, I studied and worked hard to attain my Bachelor’s degree in early Childhood Education. It has been over 6 years now I started my teaching career.
I feel very fortunate to be spending my days teaching young children and I love every moment working with them. As a mother of two young children, being able to love and teach their peers has been an honor and joy.

I was a parent volunteer at my son’s school, My curiosity developed stronger to understand the purpose of the Montessori materials and prepared environment directed me to obtain my Montessori Training.
I started my Montessori career as a Consultant and Pre-K Teacher in District of Columbia. I have been very fortunate to work with some remarkable mentors at MSCC . They have guided and supported me to achieve my goals to be a successful Montessori Educator. Children are the bright future of the world. As an educator, it is my responsibility to guide and shape them. Making the difference through teaching is the best feeling in the world. They encourage me and inspire me to continue my journey as an educator.
I have a deep interest in culinary and music. In my free time, I practice Yoga and meditation. It helps me to keep a healthy balance of my body and mind in harmony. I am very excited to begin my journey with LiMai family.
My name is Kristine Ifantis. I have been the TK Teacher at LiMai Montessori Academy for over two years. It has been a blessing for me to be able to work in such a friendly and nurturing environment. I attended California State University, Fullerton earning a degree in Child Development.
Over the years, I have completed graduate course work and specialized education. I was an elementary school teacher for five years, I taught kindergarten and first grade at a local school district. I am married, have two daughters and 4 dogs. I have learned so much from my daughters that it helped me to transfer that knowledge and experience to my students.
I strongly believe that nothing has educated me more than coming to work every day and interacting with children. I feel like children teach us more than any classroom can. I love working with this age group because they are so absorbent yet charming and innocent. They are still so new to everything and it is so easy to make them happy. They make me laugh and smile every day. With the outstanding group of children, my job doesn't feel like work and I feel lucky to be a Teacher every day.
Hello! My name is Alice Chung. This is my first year working at LiMai Montessori Academy. I feel very blessed and happy to work here. I started my child care career when I was in college. When I was in college I enrolled in Child care development classes and fell in love with the career. I started volunteering at preschools, and subbing for teachers. I ended up being offered a job at a local preschool. I found myself truly enjoying, caring, and nurturing, and guiding preschoolers. My favorite thing about teaching is seeing that smile and connection when I have helped a child with something as little as putting on a band aid or learning something new.
Hello! My name is Tanya Paz and I am new to Limai Montessori. I am a mother of 3 amazing little girls who keep me on my toes but, also teach me everyday life values. I always knew that I wanted to help, whether it meant teaching or making sure everyone around me was ok. I took my Child Development classes at Santa Ana College and become more familiar with working with kids and teaching. The more I learned the more I fell in love with it. I was so amazed on learning what children are capable of doing at such a small age. My goal isto continue to grow as a professional to give the children at Limai Montessori the best possible learning experiences that will help them develop and get ready for their next milestone.

Hello! I began my teaching career in 1993 at a Montessori School in Walnut, CA. My first assignment as an infant Teacher's Assistant was my introduction to the Montessori program. After seven years, I became a Toddler's Teacher's Assistant and was amazed at how well the toddlers learned. I moved on to become a Pre-school Teacher's Assistant for four years. During that time I took a Preschool/Kindergarten Montessori Teacher's Program and received my diploma in 2005. I went on to become a Pre-K and Kindergarten Teacher. It never ceases to amaze me how quickly these children learn at such a young age. I not only teach them, they also teach me.

I’ve been married for twelve years and have two beautiful daughters. I love to travel and explore new places with my family. My goal as a teacher is to build trust with the children and guide them. Dr.Maria Montessori believed that “It is necessary for the teacher to guide the child without letting him feel her presence too much, so that she may be always ready to supply the desired help, but may never be the obstacle between the child and his experience.”
My name is Agnes Hahn and I'm the teacher and the director in lower elementary program that is newly opened. It's my pleasure to be a member of LiMai Academy and to have a chance to build up the lower elementary program at Li Mau. As a Montessori teacher, I can proudly say that every day’s life is full of blessings. In a Montessori environment, the teaching is not only watching they’re learning knowledge, but also watching they’re truly enjoying their learning process and thanking for all their surroundings. Most of all, I deeply appreciate Montessori Methodology, because it helped me have a bigger vision of the world. I really want to guide your children to open their eyes to discover the beauty of world and be a responsible human being. I'm going to walk on this way with your children and with our wonderful staff.
